Riley M. Adams was of Bristol, Vt. Her Morehouse ancestry is (Thomas (1), Thomas (2) and Eliz. Keeler; Gideon (3) and Mary ----; John (4) and Mary, dau. of Edward Jessup; Joseph (5) and Molly, dau. of Talcott Bradly of Fairfield, Ct., Joseph removed to Ballston Lake, Saratoga Co., N.Y.; Jessup (6) and Ruth, dau. of Deliverence Andrews of Stillwater, N.Y. Olivia is of the 7th generation.

       Washington, D.C.  The records are by him).

VI.761A. Regarding "Maltby Fowler (5)", b. Jan. 7, 1775 (Lucretia 4, Dan.3, Dan.2, Wm.1). I have not been able to straighten out the records of "Maltby Fowler." An old MS. states "he d. Jan. 7, 1778."

Then we have Maltby Fowler, d. Mar. 14, 1855, ae. 75, hence born in 1780.

Northford Records give "Died. Horace, s. of Maltby and Saly Fowler, Jan. 26, 1840; ae. 31." (hence b. 1809). Martha, dau. of Maltby and Sally Fowler, d. Dec. 17, 1842, ae. 21 years, 3 mo." (hence born 1821).

They evidently had a dau. Selina Fowler who m. Luther Foote as seen by the following:

"Maltby d. Mar. 9, 1832, aged 17 days and Grace Lucretia, d. March 9, 1836, aged 1 year and 4 months, children of Luther and Selina Foote." The record has a pencil note stating "the mother was a dau. of Maltby Fowler."

Mrs. Cushman wrote:--"Sally Fowler, mother of the Sally that d. 1842, is still living. Maltby Fowler, a son, lives in Northford."

The Tuttle Family, p. 328, states: "Lowly Todd mar. Maltby Fowler. Her father Thaddeus Todd was b. in 1757."

Previously I gave the record of "Maltby Fowler, b. 17 June 1780, d. Mar. 14, 1855, m. Lowly Todd; she b. Oct. 5, 1784; d. March 18, 1869."

Apparently the record should be: Lucretia Maltby (4) b. 1749; d. 1778, mar. 1772, Josiah Fowler.
